A FARMER was sentenced to jail while his son and nephew got fully suspended sentences in a case where a man died after being assaulted in a long-running dispute over land boundaries.

The 'ring-leader' of an incident when two elderly brothers were assaulted by three men, one fatally so, arising from a boundary dispute, was today sentenced to three years in prison with half of it suspended.
