THE friends of Sophie Toscan du Plantier have described the imminent extradition of Ian Bailey to France as “a major step” in the process of uncovering the truth about her murder.

The seven newspapers accused of libelling Ian Bailey never claimed he was the murderer of Sophie Toscan du Plantier it was argued in court today as the nine-day trial approached its end.
