A 22-year-old man appeared at a special court sitting yesterday charged with the murder of 28-year-old Sarah Staunton at her home near Balla, Co Mayo over the weekend.

A post mortem is taking place this afternoon on the body of a woman who was found in a house in Co. Mayo yesterday.
