Gar O’Brien has been newly appointed as the head of film and television with The Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA).

UNIVERSITY of Limerick has just made a €9 million sporting crossing of the River Shannon, to bring its first sports amenities to its growing north campus. Next to join up on this side of the river will be the medical faculty building in the autumn.
