In Britain - Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have skated with the Olympic Torch - before passing it to a soldier who was injured in Afghanistan.

An iceberg more than nine times larger than Singapore has broken off Antarctica.

A 233-square-mile iceberg has broken off the Pine Island Glacier in the Antarctic, the National Ice Centre reported.
