Limerick Institute of Technology yesterday unveiled a €200m plan for expansion over the next 18 years.

TWELVE months ago UCC were on the receiving end of a Fitzgibbon Cup drubbing against Limerick IT in aquatic conditions in the Mardyke on an afternoon when Galway star Joe Canning was in irrepressible form. Now UCC have a shot at atonement in this afternoon’s semi-final.

LAST March when Limerick IT and NUI Galway met in the Fitzgibbon Cup semi-final in Dangan, they conjured up a spellbinding clash that yielded 49 scores over 80 minutes of pulsating action.
