Upwards of 30,000 spectators braved the wet conditions to welcome home the victorious Kilkenny All-Ireland SHC title-winning team in the Marble city tonight.

YOU’D never think it was their 29th All-Ireland win, or that it was just three short years since Liam MacCarthy was last seen in Cats country.

DJ CAREY bounded onto the platform at McDonagh Station in Kilkenny last night beaming with pride and proving to the 35,000 assembled fans that he’s not just the Top Cat but also the Real McCoy.
