I AM surprised at someone as worldly-wise as Terry Prone making such a facile defence of ministers’ workloads (Irish Examiner, September 4).

YOUR columnist Rónán Mullen (Irish Examiner, December 22) appears to think that in a Europe without Christianity we would have no reason to treat each other fairly or welcome immigrants, or even to procreate.
