A man who was assaulted in Drogheda in the early hours of St Stephen's Day has died.

Gardaí in Co Louth have arrested two teenagers in connection with a serious assault on a man in Drogheda on St Stephen's day.

A 23-year-old woman is being detained at Drogheda garda station in connection with a serious assault in the town early yesterday.
