One of Cork’s busiest tech and retail hubs can take more development despite its chronic traffic problems, a major new report claims.

ANOTHER of Cork’s electronics manufacturers is to close, bringing to three the number of electronics firms that have gone out of business in the city in little more than a year.

THERE were fears for the future of almost 150 Cork jobs last night after a receiver was appointed to an electronics firm.

EAST of Cork city, at the boundary with the harbour by Mahon, is Eden Court — a private niche housing development built in the 1980s and set to benefit from the area’s current economic uplift.
