Water supplies have still to be restored to more than 5,000 homes in Co Roscommon following pollution to the water source last weekend.

Up to 8,000 households in County Roscommon have been left without water following a diesel oil spill at a reservoir.

Around 5,000 homes in Co Roscommon have had their water supplies cut off as a result of pollution in a local lake.
