Cardiff will officially open their new £50m (€56.5m) stadium on July 22 with a pre-season friendly against Celtic.

THE SCARLETS move into their impressive 20,000-seater home, Parc y Scarlets, on the outskirts of eastern Llanelli in mid-November when the Baa-baas come to town.

Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale has described the decision to recommend plans for a new 30,000-seater stadium for council approval as “a milestone” for the club.
