A NIGERIAN man said he doesn’t feel safe working as a taxi driver in Ennis, Co Clare.

A Cavan man who was convicted of intimidating his former flatmate arising out of a stabbing incident following the 2004 All-Ireland Football Final between Mayo and Kerry has been given a four year sentence.

A 38-year-old man will appear in court this morning charged in connection with the killing of a security man outside a Cavan hotel at the weekend.
