Notorious killer Catherine Nevin had nowhere to go when she was first given temporary release from prison and only left when she was diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Catherine Nevin, known as the ‘Black Widow’, has died, taking the secret as to who she hired to murder her husband to her grave.

A bid by Catherine Nevin to take an appeal against her conviction for murdering her husband to the Supreme Court has been dismissed on the basis that it contains “absolutely no points of any merit whatsoever”.

Catherine Nevin, jailed for life for the murder of her husband, was beginning an appeal against her sentence today.
