CA FARRELLY’S harangue (Irish Examiner letters, Jan 5) against those who disagree with him on abortion is one of the most appalling displays of intolerance that has yet appeared on the pages of your newspaper.

RONÁN MULLEN (Irish Examiner, June 11) assumes not only that all Irish people worth considering have an unconditionally supportive attitude towards Christianity, but that the same is true of the rest of Europe.

RÓNÁN MULLEN, in his continuing rant on the perfidy of the Godless media, bemoans the lack of qualified commentators to write about religion in the Irish national dailies (The Irish Examiner, April 9).
