A man believed to have carried out an attack outside a nightclub which led to the death of another man was arrested under the Public Order Act before emerging as the chief suspect for the assault.

THE family of an “unassuming, well-liked” man who was critically injured in an unprovoked attack after a night out were last night keeping a vigil at his bedside while he remained on life-support.
