The Court of Criminal Appeal has today ruled that the three-year sentence handed down to a Tipperary man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl was too lenient.

A Tipperary man has failed in an attempt to overturn his conviction for the kidnap and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in a remote woodland 10 years ago.
