AN “extremely savage attack” in which a 30-year-old man was stabbed to death in a house in Killarney, in April 2007, was yesterday described to a jury.

TWO brothers who killed a man in Killarney in April 2007 were driven away from the scene by another man to their uncle’s house near Newmarket, Co Cork, the Circuit Criminal Court heard in Tralee, yesterday.

A JURY was yesterday sworn in at the Circuit Criminal Court, in Tralee, for the trial of three people who are alleged to have assisted in the escape of two brothers wanted then in connection with an unlawful killing in Killarney in April 2007.
