Joey Carbery has emerged as a major doubt for Munster’s Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final at Edinburgh Rugby in 11 days after returning from Ireland’s Six Nations camp.

MUNSTER’S clash with their 2007/08 Heineken Cup pool opponents, Llanelli Scarlets, is the pick of the first round ties for next season’s Magners League.

Stade Francais have claimed the French No 1 ranking for the 2003 / 2004 Heineken Cup tournament - and will be up against 2001 and 2002 champions Leicester, 1999 winners Ulster and the new Ebbw Vale/Newport region in Pool 1.

ASIDE from long-term injury absentees David Wallace and Rob Henderson, Munster coach Alan Gaffney will have a full strength panel from which to pick the team to play Viadana in Italy on Saturday night next in Pool 2 of the Heineken Cup.
