A volcano on a tiny Indonesian island is spewing out more hot ash and lava after causing six deaths over the weekend.

The six people swept up and killed by hot lava from an erupting volcano in eastern Indonesia had refused to leave the area for safer ground when the mountain began rumbling last year, an official said.

A plane carrying 46 passengers and crew landed so hard that both engines smashed into the runway in eastern Indonesia.
