AN INQUEST into the death of a man who was shot dead during an argument with his partner at their home in Cork has returned a verdict of misadventure.

A WOMAN who was questioned by gardaí following the fatal shooting of her partner didn’t attend his funeral yesterday.

GARDAÍ have until midnight tonight before they must charge or release the partner of Charlie Wrench, the Englishman killed by a shotgun blast in north Cork on Monday night.
