A 23-year-old man is to appear in court in the North in connection with this morning's stabbing in Downpatrick. He will appear before Coleraine Magistrate's Court on Monday, charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

Two men are recovering in hospital in the North today following two separate assaults in Downpatrick.
