Motorists have been warned to take extra care on the roads as the first icy stretches appeared yesterday, causing a number of accidents.

The American communication company, Premier Conferencing, will invest between £1.5m to £2m into their new branch, opening in January or February 2002, in the Clonakilty Technology Park.
