A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash late last night – the sixth person to die on the roads over the weekend.

Four people were killed in separate crashes on the country’s roads over the weekend including a motorcyclist taking part in a charity event.

A motorcyclist has been killed while taking part in the Annual Across Ireland Motorcycle Run for the Make a Wish Foundation yesterday, gardaí said.
