A young Cork man charged with carrying out the robbery of €1,800 from a Cork city convenience store breached his bail eight times over the holiday period and was today remanded in custody.

WITH reference to your recent report headlined ‘NRA seeks local authority help over service area plans’ , I find it preposterous that the Minister for Transport, Noel Dempsey, will not be allowing the NRA to fund rest stops along motorways.
