A former priest and convicted child abuser has been jailed for three years for possession of large amounts of child pornography.

A DEFROCKED priest has pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to three counts of possession of child pornography.

Lawyers for the State have confirmed further charges are still being considered against a defrocked priest accused of possessing child pornography.
