FOLLOWING on from the announcement by Minister Phil Hogan in relation to water charges, I just wish to query a number of points in relation to the scheme and to ask if the Department of Education has given any consideration to them.

GIVEN all the whinging, whining and complaining about the shortages of water, particularly in the Dublin area, perhaps I may proffer a number of points for reflection while they wait at the end of their dry taps with buckets and pans for the supply to come on:
