Three Ryanair flights were involved in emergency diversions on Monday, one of which was caused by a bomb alert that resulted in a drunk passenger being arrested.

EasyJet PLC, the Luton-based no-frills airline, has announced seven new routes, including three completely new destinations, two of which are in countries soon to join the European Community.

Low cost airline EasyJet has signed a long-term deal with Berlin Schonefeld Airport to make it the airline's latest European base, chief executive Ray Webster said.
