THREE out of four Irish business people believe a tunnel linking Ireland’s road network to Britain and mainland Europe is important for Irish business.

Despite massive investment in the transport network in Ireland many businesses are still dissatisfied with the level of government spending on roads, railways, ports, public transport and airports, a survey found today.

THE Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) has called on the Government to name a starting date and schedule for the Atlantic Roadway.
