Former Taoiseach Jack Lynch would have been 100 this month, sharing a centenary celebration with car company Ford's 100 years in Ireland.

Right on the Wild Atlantic Way 15 minutes west of Clonakilty, and close enough to see and hear the sea, is this renovated and upgraded coastal home of character, at a spot called Ganniv Mór near Ardfield and Rathbarry villages.

You could be run off your feet today if you go to view either of two sites, or a do-er upper bungalow, for sale in West Cork’s pretty and elevated coastal village of Ardfield.
