A Dublin couple, unaware that they had won €250,000 in the Lotto, brought their winning ticket on their Spanish holiday for three weeks, it emerged today.

A Polish national has been left scarred for life after a gang attack which began when he told a teenage girl that he did not have a cigarette, a court has heard.

A YOUNG man and a teenage girl who sustained fatal injuries when the stolen car in which they were travelling spun out of control and struck a lamppost were involved in three other collisions and were chased at high speed by a Garda patrol car prior to the fatal incident, an inquest heard yesterday.
