Israel’s new government is drawing up plans to divide the holy city of Jerusalem, according to officials.

THE more moderate line promoted by Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon’s new centrist party has suffered a big setback after plans for new settlement buildings were revealed.

A BOMB exploded between two Israeli army checkpoints outside Jerusalem yesterday, killing two Palestinians and wounding 19 people in the first such attack for six months.
