The majority of services in the country are operating with some delays, particularly in the east where road and weather conditions are difficult, Bus Éireann have said.

Met Éireann is warning of large snow falls across the east of the country this afternoon, severely disrupting transport, as the sub-zero conditions show no sign of abating.

A number of Bus Eireann services, particularly in Leinster were still cancelled, delayed or disrupted due to bad road conditions this afternoon.
