Tommy Kiely, driving a Ford Escort, took a comfortable victory in the Cashel Single Stage Rally. At the finish of the three timed runs he had a 32 second winning margin over the Escort of James Coleman.

BLITZING the opposition with a superb run through the third and final stage, Wexford’s Liam Wall and co driver Tommy Kelly (Ford Escort) took a dramatic last stage win on the Cooney Engineering/Esso Tipperary Rally.
