A bearded seal has re-appeared in Courtmacsherry Bay and yet again it was the O’Driscolls, farmers at Kilbrittan who were the first to see the big, white animal hauled up on a sandbank.

What amazes friends and neighbours who comment on the bearded seal that was identified in Courtmacsherry Bay early this month is that it has been resident here for up to two years.
