Great Leighs’ application to be given fixtures in 2013 has been turned down by the British Horseracing Authority.

There has been no contact today between the British Horseracing Authority and Great Leighs’ administrators Deloitte.

OFFICIALS at Great Leighs will have to wait at least another fortnight to be given the green light to open.
