An Indonesian court has sentenced two men to 15 years in prison for helping finance last year's terrorist bombings on the tourist island of Bali by robbing a jewellery store.

AL-QAIDA may have financed the Bali bomb attacks that killed 202 people, including 26 Britons, a jailed Muslim radical said yesterday at the trial of a key bombing suspect.

A key Bali bomb suspect told an Indonesian court today that he was the operational chief of the regional terror group Jemaah Islamiyah, and said he knows Osama bin Laden “very well”.
