AN AURAL and visual treat is what director Bryan Flynn is promising audiences with his production of The Sound of Music at the Cork Opera House.

Two editions of The Sound of Music (Fox, €24.99, €34.99) mark the 40th anniversary of this musical extravaganza about the lives of the Von Trapp family, with Julie Andrews charming the aloof Christopher Plummer.
