Horrorthon 2015 is almost upon us, with a weekend and more of seriously scary stuff at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin.

It began as a coffee table book — ex-Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld took photos of models, actors, and musicians, all wearing Chanel's classic coat. Now, the Little Black Jacket is a major exhibition, opening in London next month.

From France comes this solid, if eventually low-key, WW2 drama concerning a group of non-French resistance fighters – Poles, Armenians, communists, Jews – who took on the Nazis in the early days of the resistance in Paris.

With such a wonderful cast in such a wonderful film, you can forget the eggs and bunnies and wallow in delight.
