Hundreds of trees will be planted in one of Cork’s largest parks as part of a €50,000 landscaping scheme.

An extensive network of walking trails has been developed through a town to showcase its rich military heritage.

SPECIAL “tone zones” encouraging residents to work up a sweat are to be installed in several Cork towns at a cost of €185,000.
