TYRUR DARYL, owned by PJ Fahy in Co Galway, was fastest of the first six heats of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger at Limerick last night.

LIOS AN EOLAIS became the first 100/1 shot to win a race at the track since Curraheen Park opened in April 2000 when springing a massive upset in the opening heat of the Guinness Trophy on Saturday night.

OWEN MCKENNA, who kicked-off his annus mirabilis last year by taking the Guinness Trophy at Curraheen Park with Boherduff Light, has another major contender for this year's renewal in Student Pass who carded a fastest of the round 28.33 in heat 6 on Saturday night.
