IT WAS one of Fianna Fáil’s best ever fundraising nights when former taoiseach Albert Reynolds was guest of honour at a private dinner attended by top Cork businessmen, the Mahon Tribunal heard yesterday.

A retired garda today said a murder suspect did not complain of garda abuse to his solicitor during a phone call in his presence.

DETECTIVE Superintendent Kevin Lennon told the Morris Tribunal yesterday he took no action against alleged informer Adrienne McGlinchey when she took a lunchbox packed with bullets across the border for the IRA because she was helping gardaí.
