A cargo ship that sunk with eight crew on board has been located on the seabed.

Severe weather is likely to have played a part in the capsize and sinking of a cargo ship with eight crew on board, the vessel’s management company has said.

A ferry which ran into trouble in high winds in the Irish Sea has run aground at Blackpool, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said tonight.
