The agri-services group Origin Enterprises says it has reached “conditional agreement” for the disposal of up to 31 acres of land it owns on Cork’s south docklands in to O'Callaghan Properties for up to €47.5m.

The Department of Transport today said the upgrade of the M50 is on target for completion next year.

Food business Origin Enterprises - owner of brands including Roma and Odlums - today reported operating profits of €75.7m for the year ended July 31, up 6.7% on last year's figure of €70.9m.
