I WAS somewhat bemused at the conflicting content of two news items concerning Travellers (April 22).

ONCE again we have seen how easily a gullible government can be duped by sectional interests into using taxpayers’ money to fund the purchase of consumer goods – ie, cars.

THE word ‘tragedy’ is used too often and too lightly in a sporting context — an unfortunate own-goal perhaps, or a fleeting honour missed for another year.
