Buildings wobbled and the ground rumbled after an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale shook neighbouring counties in the UK.

A strong earthquake south of the US-Mexico border swayed high-rise buildings in Los Angeles and San Diego and was felt across Southern California and Arizona.
