Furious Ulster Bank customers look set to ignore pleas to stay loyal with the firm, by jumping ship to rival financial institutions.

It looks likely that the Ulster Bank crisis is heading into another week, with no clear resolution in sight for the up to 150,000 customers affected.

Ulster Bank has today announced the appointment of Patrick Farrell to the position of Head of Private Banking.
