AAA champion Mo Sillah-Freckleton produced a solid performance to progress into the 60m hurdles semi-finals on the second day of the World Indoor Championships in Budapest.

DERVAL O’ROURKE reaped the rewards of professional preparation when she ran 8.18 secs to win the 60m hurdles at the international meet in Cardiff on Sunday.

GERALDINE HENDRICKEN, Ireland’s athletic sensation of the season, will go into action this morning in the women’s 1,500m heats, which have an automatic place in Sunday’s final as the prize for the first three.
