A PROVOCATIVE series of Irish Examiner advertising campaigns has been honoured in a prestigious global competition.

Director Armando Iannucci reunites with the writing team from his award-winning BBC Four series ‘The Thick Of It’, cramming more belly laughs into the first 20 minutes of this satire than most comedies manage in two hours.

Writer and director Armando Iannucci has today confirmed he is working on a new series of The Thick of It, saying the Twitter posts on the subject were written by him.
