Ireland’s gourmet capital is set to go pink this weekend for one of the country’s top cancer fundraisers.

IT isn’t easy turning a charitable donation into a fun, girly event, but if anyone can do it, it’s the bubbly Sharon Crosbie, who knows you don’t have to be solemn to be serious.

TOURISTS looked bewildered and day trippers stopped to stare as Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare and the Dormouse trooped through Kinsale yesterday, followed by up to 200 revellers eating and drinking their way though the town.
